Description
Beijing Police Museum is located in Dongjiaomin Lane, Dongcheng District. The pavilion is a 4-story Western-style classical building. The Beijing Police Museum mainly displays real objects, with pictures, texts, models, etc., and adopts a combination of chronicles and major themes. It is divided into four exhibition halls: Beijing Public Security History, Criminal Investigation, Police Functions, and Police Equipment. There are more than 7,000 collections (including Chinese and foreign collections related to the police from the Ming Dynasty to the present), and more than 1,500 pieces are displayed. The interior design of the museum uses high-tech means and introduces advanced sound, light and electrical technologies, which better highlights the characteristics of the museum's era. There are special operation projects for the audience to participate in, such as simulated driving, real-time display system of traffic road conditions, fire escape and self-rescue training facilities, etc.
