The Peking University Library is located in the core area of the campus, on the north side of the Centennial Lecture Hall. Peking University Library is one of the earliest modern new-type libraries in China with rich collections. The environment around the library is also very good, and a row of ginkgo trees is particularly beautiful in autumn.
