Description
The Site of the First National Congress of the CCP is a preserved meeting hall and historical site in Shanghai’s Xintiandi area. In July, 1921 members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) met to debate the party’s political program. The museum contains restored furniture used during the meeting, as well as historical documents and realistic wax figures of participants. Volunteer tour guides provide tours throughout the day with limited offerings in English. As a fascinating part of Chinese history, the museum certainly merits a visit.
