Wendao Park is a municipal park located in northern Shanghai’s Baoshan District. Designed for leisure, there are several protected historic buildings located within the park grounds. The park’s many paths and several bridges create a nice atmosphere. Small shops and eateries make it easy to get a snack or some water on hot days. Given its location in the far northern portions of Shanghai, Wendao Park is largely ignored by tourists, which makes it attractive for those looking to escape the crowds so common in the city center.
