The West Bund Pavilion of Long Museum is located at the core of the "West Bund Cultural Corridor" in Xuhui Riverside, Shanghai. It was designed and constructed by Chinese architect Liu Yichun. Due to its unique architectural style, it has quickly become a mecca for high-value photography in Shanghai, and has attracted numerous architectural photographers. In addition, free niche online celebrity exhibitions are often held here, which are very popular. The main building of the museum is characterized by a unique "umbrella arch" structure and is divided into four floors. The first and second floors above ground are exhibition spaces for contemporary art such as paintings, sculptures, installations, and new media. The large-scale overhanging arched space surface is poured with fine-grained fair-faced concrete, which is the same as the original Beipiao Wharf fashion space "Doulang". "Form a visual echo, creating a sense of industry and originality. The basement floor is a permanent exhibition space for ancient Chinese art treasures. The "white box" rectangular exhibition hall highlights the historical inheritance and profoundness of Chinese traditional art. The West Bund Museum of the Long Museum is not a traditional closed and introverted art museum, but a public space with openness and public participation. There are river view restaurants, public landscape courtyards, concert halls, coffee shops, art shops, etc. on the two floors above ground; children's exhibition hall, library, art restoration room, art bookstore, etc. Parking lot with more than 300 parking spaces.
